Located next to Camden Town Centre, the Bicentennial Equestrial Park and Club House provides a function venue with kitchen facilities, meeting room, open pavilions and plenty of space for functions of all kinds.

About BEP

The Park is owned by Camden Council and administered by a Committee consisting of Equestrian & Community volunteers. The Park is approximately 200 acres divided by Matahill Creek through the centre and a few acres of natural wetland.

The Camden Mens Shed on the site was formed in 2008 to specifically provide support to the Park through maintenance, planting and minor development items to enhance useage of the Park.

Camden Council provides a base fund annually and supports grant applications. The grounds are hired out for additional revenue for many events sporting and social.The Park

The Park has a paved walking path approximately 2.5 kilometers long as a Memorial laid out by the Camden RSL Sub Branch and is extremely popular for all ages. An RSL Memorial Garden and Ceremonial area on the edge of the Park also attracts many thousands every Anzac Day.


The Park is at the end of the main town centre (Argyle St) and bounded by Cawdor Rd and Sheathers Lane, both have entrances, there is also a main vehicle entrance off Exeter St in Camden. The Park is easily accessable and is a popular community venue.

There are 3 venues for hire within the Park with meeting and catering areas; showers, toilets and picnic facilities.

There are 5 Polocrosse fields with approximately 100 horse yards, full campdraft and rodeo arenas with a holding area for up to 1000 cattle for major events.

Pony club has a meeting and equipment storage area with safe fenced arenas and parking area. Adjacent is a 10 dressage arena area with warm up space

The main arena has a 2 story club house adjacent with full facilities. From here are conducted show jumping, cross country, eventing, led and riding classes, miniature horse events and more.

Camping facilities many with power and water for about 700 sites are available and can be expanded for independent vehicle camping. There are also many school and community events held on the Park.
