Q: How do I book the Main Pavilion or Southern Pavilion?
A: To book, please submit a booking request through our online form or contact our team directly via email or phone. Bookings are subject to availability.

Q: What are the costs for booking the Main Pavilion or Southern Pavilion?
A: Click here to obtain an estimate.
Fees are based on the 2026/27 Fees & Charges schedule and may change on 1 July annually.

Q: When can I book for next year?
A: Booking requests for the following year typically open in early November. For example, 2026 bookings will open in November 2025.

Q: Can I reserve a date tentatively?
A: No, we do not hold tentative dates due to the high volume of booking requests.

Q: When are the bond and hire fees due?
A: The bond is due once your booking is registered in Bookable, this is Camden Council's online booking software.
Hire fees are due 3 weeks prior to your event date.

Q: Is it possible to hire food vans, pizza trucks, bar staff, caterers, jumping castles and other amusements?
A: Yes, food vans, pizza trucks, food vendors, jumping castles and other amusements are permitted. Each pavilion offers ample power and space to accommodate them.
All commercial vendors for your event must have public liability insurance of $20,000,000.

Q: Can we use the fire pit at the Southern Pavilion?
A: Yes, as long as there is not a total fire ban in place. You need to bring your own firewood.

Q: Can I hire the venue for just a few hours, and are there cheaper rates available for shorter bookings?
A: Our venues are available only for all-day hires, from early morning until 11 PM for music and venue vacated by all patrons by midnight.
We offer a single day rate with no reduced fees for shorter bookings.

Q: Can we hire in a marquee?
A: Yes. Most local hire companies have installed their marquees at both the Main Pavilion and Southern Pavilion.

Q: After booking, when will I receive the access information?
A: Access details will be sent via email a few days before your event, this will include instructions for entry, lock box pin details and a checklist that will need to be followed for the bond to be refunded.

Q: Can I arrange a visit to inspect the Main Pavilion or Southern Pavilion before making a booking?
A: Yes, an inspection can be scheduled. Please contact the booking officer to coordinate a suitable time for your visit.
